The Ahlou Sounnati Wal Jama’a Center of Mauritania calls on people of goodwill for their generosity to cover the many expenses and difficulties related to caring for orphans and the needy, such as water and electricity bills.

The Center cares for orphans and the needy by providing them with shelter, Islamic education, food and other needs.
The Merkez has no funds of its own and depends solely on donations and a few student contributions, which prove insufficient to cover the numerous expenses.

According to Sahl Ibn Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him) said: “We will be in Paradise, me and the one who takes care of the orphan, like this,” and he made a sign with his index and middle fingers.
(Reported by Bukhari in his Sahih no. 5304)



عن سهل بن سعد رضي الله عنه قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم : أنا و كافل اليتيم في الجنة هكذا قال بإصبعيه السبابة و الوسطى

(رواه البخاري في صحيحه رقم ٥٣٠٤)

According to Abu Bakr Ibn Hafs: 'Abdallah Ibn 'Omar (may Allah be pleased with them, him and his father) would not eat a meal without an orphan being at his table.
(Reported by Bukhari in Al Adab Al Moufrad no. 136 and authenticated by Shaykh Al-Albani in Sahih Al Adab Al Moufrad no. 102)



عن أبي بكر بن حفص أنَّ عبدالله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما كان لا يأكلُ طعامًا إلَّا وعلى خِوَانِهِ يَتِيمٌ

( رواه الإمام البخاري في الأدب المفرد رقم ١٣٦ و صححه الشيخ الألباني في صحيح الأدب المفرد رقم ١٠٢)

According to Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him) said: “The one who cares for the widow and the poor is like the mujahid in the way of Allah, or like the one who prays at night and fasts by day.”
(Reported by Bukhari in his Sahih no. 5353 and Muslim in his Sahih no. 2982)



عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم : الساعي على الأرملة و المسكين كالمجاهد في سبيل الله ، أو القائم الليل الصائم النهار

(رواه البخاري في صحيحه رقم ٥٣٥٣ و مسلم في صحيحه رقم ٢٩٨٢)



According to Zayd ibn Khalid Al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him) said: “Whoever gives food to a fasting person for the breaking of the fast will have the same reward as him, without that diminishing the reward of the fasting person at all.”

(Reported by Tirmidhi in his Sunan no. 807, which he authenticated and which was also authenticated by Shaykh Al-Albani in Sahih Targhib no. 1078)





عن زيد بن خالد الجهني قال رسول الله صلّى الله عليه و سلّم : من فطّر صائمًا كان له مثل أجره غير أنّه لا ينقص من أجر الصائم شيء 

(رواه الترمذي في سننه رقم ٨٠٧ و صححه و صححه أيضاً الشيخ الألباني في تحقيق سنن الترمذي)
