Dear brother, dear sister,
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
In the city of Bourges, the number of believers continues to grow (ولله الحمد ):
With children being born, new families moving in, students enrolling at the university campus. And above all the massive arrival of our refugee brothers and sisters.
And today, we are obliged to enlarge our mosque to meet the needs of the whole community.
You have surely noticed that the capacity of our mosque has reached its limits. On feast days and for Friday prayer, we are forced to lay out the prayer rugs outside, which is not very comfortable for the faithful, especially when it rains, or in summer when it is very hot.
Our expansion and rehabilitation project for the largest mosque in Bourges, Masjid Al Fath, is an ambitious project, large in size, large in cost, and above all, great in reward with ALLAH (عز وجل). It will double our capacity and allow us to receive our children, our brothers and our sisters, in better conditions.
The month of Ramadan is a blessed month, a month of generosity; let us take advantage of it to purify our souls and fill our account of hassanats.
Our Prophet, peace be upon him, said :** “(مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا للَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ )
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
This fundraiser allows you to participate in the project to expand the House of Allah.
We ask Allah to accept our deeds, to grant us His Mercy during this blessed month, and to facilitate good deeds for us.
May Allah reward you for your generosity and protect you and your loved ones.
