THE LIÉVIN MOSQUE NEEDS YOU FOR ONE LAST PUSH !!
My dearest brothers, my dearest sisters, the beautiful project of the great Liévin Mosque is nearing completion.
This has been made possible thanks to Allah our Creator and, of course, to all the donations and supplications you have made.
Today, with the help of Allah and generous donors, we are entering the finalization phase of the project and we can finally hold initial prayers within the new mosque.
However, finishing work remains to be done so that we can pray decently and comfortably and finally move past the construction phase to focus on the future.
The 2023 campaign aims to finance the following items:
- The 750 m² of exterior terraces that will be used for prayer in case of high attendance
The cost of the terraces is €37,500, i.e. €50 per m²
- Carpets for men and women
- Various bookshelves
- Fire doors for the prayer rooms
The 2021 campaign allowed us to raise more than €50,000 and funded the building's heating system and the completion of the interior drywall. Thanks to this, the mosque is usable; we were able to hold our first prayer there in 2021 for Eid. May Allah reward the donors!
The 2022 campaign enabled us to fund the ablution room, the interior floor tiling, painting and various other things (some electrical work, plumbing, etc.)
The mosque is almost finished so give yourself the chance to perform a perpetual charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) by funding m² of carpet or terrace (which will also be used for prayer).
