☪️IFTAR AT ELANCOURT MOSQUE RAMADAN 1446☪️
☪️ Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah ☪️,
The Association of Muslims of Elancourt, Attawba Mosque 🕌, wishes you and all your loved ones a 🎇Ramadan Kareem 1446🎇. May Allah SWT accept our fast, our prayers and our supplications 🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻.
As you surely know, Attawba Mosque of Elancourt traditionally organizes the Iftar meal and has done so for several years. This allows many Muslim brothers in precarious situations to have a hot and decent meal after the Maghrib prayer. The organization by the board members and the generosity of Muslims have enabled these iftars to be held under optimal conditions.
This year, Insha'Allah, we will repeat the same modus operandi as last year, that is, in the form of takeaway meal boxes for people who come to the Mosque and deliveries in the form of food parcels for needy families in nearby shelters and accommodation centers.
Regarding the Harira, we will again call on an external cook this year who will prepare the soup for 200 people/day throughout the month of Ramadan at a cost of around 100 Euros/day. We chose this option to ensure we have enough soup each day and to ensure better management and organization of the Iftar this year.
We will also continue the collection of foodstuffs (water in small bottles preferably, milk, leben, dates, eggs, pastries, canned drinks preferably, etc.) so that these can be distributed in the food parcels.
Hot dishes and other culinary preparations are also welcome.
Finally, those who wish to contribute financially so that the organizers of these iftars can purchase food products are also welcome to contribute to this fundraiser or to give their contribution at the mosque, specifying that it is intended for the Iftar for those who are fasting.
We therefore appeal to your generosity and goodwill so that each of us can participate as much as possible in this operation for the benefit of those in need and in distress.
