Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,
The Sablons Mosque welcomes more and more worshippers every day for the five daily prayers and even more during the Friday prayer. That is why an expansion has become necessary for the proper conduct of prayers and out of respect for the neighborhood.
Moreover, following last year’s safety inspection, the authorities requested the integration of the house purchased in 2015 in order to be able to welcome the public. Based on this request, the Association Musulmane des Bonnes Oeuvres has launched the expansion project integrating the current mosque with the house (No. 235). This project is designed by an architect from Le Mans.
We ask all Muslims of the Sarthe and beyond to participate in this project which is a continuous charity (sadaqa jariyah). The Prophet (SAWS) said: "Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise."
Let us spend for ourselves, for our parents and for our future generations. We will find these sadaqates (charities) on the day when neither money nor children will benefit us.
The Prophet (SAWS) said: "A person will be under the shade of his sadaqa (charity) on the Day of Judgment."
Allah (SWT) says in the Qur'an: "And whatever you spend of good—It will be fully repaid to you and you will not be wronged." (v.272 al-Baqarah)
"ما تنفقوا من خير يوفَّ إليكم وأنتم لا تظلمون"
He (SWT) also says: "And spend from what We have provided you before death comes to one of you and he says, ‘My Lord, if only You would delay me for a short term so I would give charity and be among the righteous.'" (v.10 al-Munafiqun)
"وَأَنفِقُواْ مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَٰكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَآ أَخَّرْتَنِىٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ قَرِيبٍۢ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ"
As reported in the hadith: "When the son of Adam dies, all his deeds are stopped except three: a continuous sadaqa (charity), beneficial knowledge, or the supplication of a pious child." Your sadaqa will be part of the first category, inshaAllah.
Whatever the amount, everyone can participate in this fundraiser. There is no need to create an account or register, it’s quick and card payments are secure.
