As-salamu alaykum dear sisters and brothers,
We have just obtained authorization to begin the work at the Zakaria Mosque, the oldest mosque in the department. It has remained in its original state for many years.
Today, we are moving on to the second phase, the most important step: renovation and bringing the mosque up to standards to welcome worshippers.
For this first part of the works, we are appealing to your generosity. Our renovation project will allow us to host our children, our brothers and sisters in faith in better conditions. The month of Ramadan is a blessed month, a month of generosity.
Our beloved Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a dwelling in Paradise."
We ask Allah to accept our actions, to grant us His mercy during this blessed month and to make good deeds easy for us.
May Allah reward you for your generosity and protect you and your loved ones.
