As-salamu alaykum,
This year, the association Muslims En Action is mobilizing to provide food parcels during this month of Ramadan to students in need in Lille and its surrounding areas.
As you know, people facing isolation and precariousness are all the more affected during this period of lockdown. Indeed, many of our brother and sister students, often already isolated because they live far from their families and rely on casual jobs, are finding themselves in even greater difficulty.
Moreover, the exceptional lockdown due to COVID-19 does not improve their situation, quite the opposite.
The month of Ramadan will very soon open the doors to Allah's blessings. Blessed is the one who knows how to seize this opportunity.
A whole team of volunteers from the association "Muslims En Action" will be present throughout the month of Ramadan to prepare and deliver food parcels. Hot and cold meals will be distributed.
"Muslims En Action" aims to serve the most deprived, but it will only be possible thanks to you.
At the start of the project we aimed to deliver around fifty food parcels to students; however, thanks to volunteers and your donations we are now preparing nearly 300 food parcels and 200 hot meals every day! That is why we still need your help to reach the sum of 30,000 euros, insha'Allah.
