Here, children do not play in schoolyards. They learn to survive under the rubble. They lost a leg. An arm. Sometimes both. And with that, a part of themselves. Their laughter has been replaced by screams. Their carefreeness by pain.
Today, hundreds of children live amputated, broken in their flesh and in their daily lives.
❌ Deprived of mobility.
❌ Deprived of autonomy.
❌ Deprived of dignity.
Some crawl to reach the toilets...
Others no longer leave their beds, imprisoned in their own bodies.
They depend on others for every simple gesture. They watch other children run, play, learn
And meanwhile, the world keeps turning. But for them, everything has stopped. Their childhood tastes of dust and silence.
And their future? It fades a little more each day... unless we decide to act. 🤝
