Le jardin des bibous is an experimental microfarm practicing permaculture and agroforestry in the Landes.
Nicolas has already been ordered in first instance to demolish his agricultural building used as a dwelling, although legal appeals exist.
The building's demolition would, in effect, undermine the project's viability and its public and collective utility.
This year Le jardin des bibous is a viable agricultural enterprise, focused on the environmental challenges of the future, but cannot cover the costs associated with this legal procedure. Supporting Le jardin des bibous is an opportunity to shift the status quo and propose new agricultural models that protect the environment as well as the farmer's quality of life. This trial is an opportunity to set precedent and to grant all market gardeners the right to live on their cultivation land and more easily secure their activities.
