In 2017, the inhabitants of this remote village in Sbeïtla, Tunisia, launched the ATTOUABA Mosque project.
After more than 7 years of waiting, the Ramadan prayer remains a dream for these villagers.
The NLH association supports this project to enable them to gather and pray with dignity in the house of Allah this Ramadan 2024.
The NLH volunteer team commits to visiting the site regularly to monitor progress and to update the dedicated photo/video album.
Every donation counts, every gesture brings our community closer to the ultimate goal. Let us therefore unite our efforts to erect this place of prayer and sharing, which will become the spiritual heart of this village.

The mosque is the place most beloved by Allah. It is the Muslim's primary place of worship. It is toward this place that Muslims converge five times a day to fulfill their daily obligations toward Allah: prayer.
It also has a social purpose because it is where Muslims gather and get to know one another. Among the mosque's aims are also the learning of religion, its teaching, the learning of the Qur'an and the education of the community.
Those who attend and fill the houses of Allah are His allies.
In this regard, according to a hadith, Abu Hurayra and Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (peace be upon them) report that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"There is no group of people who gather to invoke Allah, the Glorified and Honored, without that the angels surround them (with their wings), mercy envelops them, serenity descends upon them and Allah mentions them among those who are with Him."
Allah Subhanahu reminds us in the Qur'an in Surah Al-Baqarah (S2:V261):
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is like a grain from which seven ears grow..." Every donation, small or large, builds a vital place of worship.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise." (Sahih Muslim)
