Project to rebuild a home in Morocco

A proper roof, a home where one feels safe, being warm in winter and sheltered from extreme heat in summer… Things that sometimes seem obvious to us, but that unfortunately remain a dream for some people.

Today, we want to help a family of retirees living in Assilah, Morocco, who continue to work to survive despite their age and difficulties.

Last year, heavy rains damaged their small house. Since then, for lack of means to carry out the necessary repairs, their home has deteriorated a little more with each episode of rain. They live in difficult conditions, without the minimal comfort everyone should be able to have at home, with consequences for their health and well‑being.

They don't even ask for ANYTHING; we took this initiative to make their lives easier.

That is why we are launching this fundraiser to help them rebuild their home and regain a healthy, suitable place to live.

My parents travel there several times a year and will be able to personally accompany them in overseeing the work, so that the money raised is used concretely to improve their living conditions.

This family is not unknown to us. We see them suffer year after year, and despite our desire to help them, we are unable to provide all the support they would need.

Today, we appeal to your generosity.

🙏 Every donation, even small, can make a real difference. And if you cannot contribute financially, a simple share can help this fundraiser reach more people.

Together, let's help them regain what everyone deserves: a safe roof, a bit of comfort and the peace of being able to live with dignity at home. 🤲🇲🇦
