❤️ The Sanctuary “Nos Amis pour la Vie” in Marrakech
A haven of peace for the forgotten, the injured, the abandoned…
In the heart of the Marrakech countryside, on 4 hectares of rented land, Julia, a 30-year-old woman with a huge heart, created an extraordinary sanctuary 5 years ago in 2020.
A place of life, care and love, where stray dogs, injured donkeys, abandoned horses gradually regain trust… and hope.
Every day, Julia answers the call:
Accidents, abuse, poisonings, abandonments…
She goes out into the field, alone, often in emergencies, to bring the most vulnerable back to the sanctuary. There, they receive what they have never had: a bowl, shelter, medical care, and above all… affection.
Julia never really sleeps. She has a side job to survive, but she gives everything for those in her care.
No subsidies, no State aid, zero institutional support.
Everything rests on her strength, her courage… and your generosity.**
Today, the sanctuary hosts:
110 rescued dogs
15 equids (donkeys, mules, horses) traumatized
All are waiting for a family. All hope for a miracle.
