⭐ They pray outside. No roof. No hall. Just faith.

Help us build the first mosque in Dame-Marie (Haiti).

Every day, in rain or sun, children, youth and elders gather to pray on the bare ground, on a simple tarp.
Many young people in the area do not go to school for lack of money.
The mosque would be for them a refuge, a place of learning, education and guidance.

They have no building, no external support, and not a single donation from the diaspora to date.

🕌 Why is this fundraiser vital?

✔ A community of 40 active Muslims already pray on the site
✔ New converts arrive with nowhere to learn
✔ Some children cannot afford to go to school
✔ The imam has no decent space to teach or receive worshippers
✔ All materials must be purchased
✔ The non-Muslim population respects and supports the community



Need for Qur'ans!

The community lacks Qur'ans.
Many young people, new converts and even adults have no copy to learn from and review.
Giving a Qur'an is giving a light, a guide, Allah’s presence in someone’s life.

One Qur'an given = a faith that grows.

The Al-Fattah Mosque teaches true faith, based on the Quran and the authentic Sunnah, with gentleness, knowledge and wisdom.

They have faith. They only lack the means.



🧼 Need for an ablution area and sanitary facilities

The community also lacks a place to perform proper ablutions (wudu).
There is no water point, no toilets.
Today, for their natural needs, Muslims must walk to the sea, which is particularly difficult and embarrassing for women and children.

For this, we have an urgent need for:
• a well or a rainwater collection system,
• simple and dignified toilets,
• a dedicated area for ablutions.

These installations are essential to practice Islam properly and with respect.





🎯 Immediate goal

Build a sheltered space for prayers.

🌙 Long-term goal

Make the Al-Fattah Mosque an Islamic center:
→ Islamic education (Quran and authentic Sunnah)
→ academic support for underprivileged youth
→ school for children
→ vocational training
→ aid for orphans
→ spiritual guidance
→ permanent presence of the imam

This is a collective waqf for the whole Grand'Anse.
