For this third project, we set our course for Indonesia, accompanied by eight young people from the city of Belfort’s priority urban neighborhoods. Indonesia, an archipelago of more than 17,000 islands, is the fourth most populous country in the world, rich in exceptional cultural and natural diversity. Yet it faces major challenges in education, poverty and the environment, particularly affecting its rural populations.
We have decided to act at our level! We do not claim to do humanitarian work, because that is a real profession and you cannot improvise as a "humanitarian worker." However, we know how to be supportive and we have decided to be so internationally. That is why we have chosen to assist local actors who know the essential needs of the local population. To that end, we have carefully selected several reliable NGOs and associations.
The project therefore includes a local dimension by working directly with young people to raise their awareness of solidarity by involving them directly in the solidarity journey project. It also has an international solidarity dimension through the planned actions on site.
This fundraiser is therefore EXCLUSIVELY intended to finance the solidarity action. The Objectif Égalité team will travel there starting October 17, 2025. We will show you step by step, via social media, the progress of this cultural and solidarity journey.
