A little over three years ago, thanks to the generosity of many people, we were able to renovate the toilets and the infirmary of a school in the Philippines. A project that had a tangible impact on the daily lives of the students and the teaching team.

Next October, I will return to the Philippines with a group, including two young people who took part in the previous Périple solidaire et culturel. It would be impossible for us to go back without visiting this school, which holds such a special place in our story.

Before this trip, I spoke with our local contact, the incredible Mharvhin, to find out the school's most urgent needs. Rather than funding a one-off project, we wanted to support improvements that are genuinely useful in the long term.

Two priorities have been identified:

🚰 Renovation of the shared taps used daily by the students.
🍽️ Refurbishment of the kitchen floor where the meals for the community canteen are prepared.

The total cost of these two works is 48,210 Philippine pesos, i.e. €685.

It's a relatively modest sum, but it will help sustainably improve the living and reception conditions for hundreds of children.

Every donation, even just a few euros, will bring us closer to this goal. And as always, we commit to showing you exactly how the funds are used. In October, we'll be on site to monitor the progress of the work and let you experience this wonderful journey from the inside, through photos, videos and testimonials.
