🤍 Help me keep the lights on for my children

Salam alaykoum, hello everyone,

I am calling on your solidarity today to help me pay an electricity bill of 610,16 €.

I am a single mother of six children, aged 1 to 13, and I am currently unemployed. In Mayotte, life is expensive, and with six mouths to feed, every end of the month is a headache. Over the months, an electricity debt has accumulated: 610,16 €. Alone, I cannot repay it.

I am not asking for help with my daily needs, only for this bill, so that my children can keep the lights on, the fridge working and be able to do their homework in the evenings.

I am already receiving notifications from EDM for late-payment penalties, and I risk a power cut if the debt is not settled.

I first tried other solutions. I applied for a chèque énergie to pay this EDM bill. My application for a chèque énergie was refused because the name of my street changed recently. The town hall cannot provide a supporting document, the changes being too recent.

I know this is not easy for anyone right now, and I am grateful for whatever you can do, even a simple share. Even 1 €, 2 € or 5 € make a difference when there are many of us. And if you cannot give, sharing this message already helps me enormously.
