L'Après M mutual aid platform: Help us help.
Our food mutual aid platform was born during the first lockdown. Here, in the northern neighborhoods of Marseille, the health crisis was accompanied by a social crisis. We responded with the strength of mutual aid and solidarity. Men and women decided to organize to support and help those who need it.
100% of the money collected in this fund is used to purchase food and essential items that we distribute directly. We buy the products ourselves that are distributed in addition to the items donated directly to the platform.
Parcel distribution takes place every Monday. During the week, we respond to emergencies by preparing and distributing hot meals during outreach rounds.
Overall, more than 1,000 people avoid food distress each week thanks to generosity!
The main needs we meet:
- Flour, pasta, rice
- Milk, oil
- Sugar, bread
- Canned goods
- Vegetables, fruit
- Hygiene and basic household items
What keeps us going is mutual aid, the solidarity of those who can afford it. Donating to this fund directly helps people affected by the social crisis that is hitting our country.
