A GOLDEN SADAQA JARIYA (continuous charity)

@aliftar1 launches the project "Quran for All" to give you the opportunity to offer one or more copies of the work "The Quran and the Translation of the Meanings of Its Verses" from Tawbah editions as Sadaqa Jariya (continuous charity). The beneficiaries will be members of our community in France as well as mosques so that this wonderful clear and explanatory translation is available to as many people as possible.

The merits of Sadaqa Jariya:

- According to Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (may Allah's prayers and His peace be upon him) said: “There are seven things from which the reward reaches the servant in his grave after his death: the one who taught a science, dug the bed of a river, dug a well, planted a palm tree, built a mosque, left a mushaf (Quran) as an inheritance, or left a pious child who asks forgiveness for him after his death.” (sahih at-targhib, no. 73)

- According to Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Prophet (may Allah's prayers and His peace be upon him) said: “When the son of Adam dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: a continuous charity, knowledge from which people benefit, and a pious child who prays for him.” (Reported by Muslim)

This continuous charity can also be offered on behalf of one of your deceased relatives so that they may benefit from the immense reward in their grave thanks to this work which, in addition to being a translation, includes several scholarly annotations as well as the Quranic text in Arabic. Indeed, the deceased benefits from the charity performed by the living on his behalf according to the unanimous view of the People of the Sunnah and Consensus; (Permanent Committee for Ifta)

Why this idea?

For non-Arabophone people, reading the Quran is often relegated to the background. It is mistakenly believed that as long as one does not master the Arabic language one cannot benefit from the Book of Allah.

While it is true that the Quran in its original language cannot be equaled by any translation, and that it is an obligation for the Muslim to learn Arabic to access a correct understanding of the religion; nevertheless, while awaiting this noble goal, one can discover part of the riches of the Quran thanks notably, praise be to Allah, to this work for the French-speaking public.

That is why we decided to call on you to help us in this project and make this book available to as many people as possible in France, thus allowing readers to have a better understanding of the Word of Allah in their mother tongue.

Here are a few lines from the introduction where the translator explains the objective of this book:

"Our objective is not to claim to revolutionize, but to propose a fundamental approach absent in the francophone production which we believe sorely lacks a scientific basis. One only has to leaf through the introductions and annexes of the available translations: where are those who gave their lives for the Book of Allah? Where are the detailed and luminous words of the scholars of Islam? Where are the solid definitions of the scholars of the Arabic language and the fundamentals of religion? Where are the dazzling commentaries of the exegetes? Where are the clear clarifications of the hadith scholars? Where are the subtle remarks of the jurists?

One must give to each his right, attribute knowledge to those who possess it, remain faithful to the text, be humble. The translation must not keep the reader under its sway, impose choices whose reasons are most often hidden, and leave him in uncertainty concerning the Book of his Lord, but it must give him the keys to understand what the Word of Allah is, and what the nature of the text offered in French is. In short, bring him closer to the Word of Allah, and not distance him from it in favor of the translator's words."

JOIN THE QURAN FOR ALL PROJECT, and be a cause in spreading this translation so that as many people as possible within our community in France can benefit.
