Dear friends and coffee lovers,



My name is Diana, owner of Comptoir Rama Cafés et Thés, a warm and friendly place where the love of artisanal coffee truly matters. A certified roaster and barista sommelier, I have devoted my life to perfecting the art of coffee to offer our community unique moments of pleasure in every cup.

Unfortunately, our beloved café located in Baie des Flamands on the Fort-de-France waterfront was severely damaged by the devastating passage of Hurricane Beryl. Violent winds and flooding destroyed much of our essential equipment, including our coffee machine, refrigerated cabinets, our worktop, and our furniture. In addition, we lost a large portion of our stock of products.

Today, I turn to you, our beloved community, to ask for your help. We need your support to replace equipment and rebuild our café differently in Fort-de-France. Every donation, small or large, will bring us closer to our goal of bringing Comptoir Rama Cafés et Thés back to life and reopening our doors to continue serving our delicious artisanal coffee.

- Replacement coffee machine, professional grinder, beer tap, cash register: 5 000 €

- Replacement of two refrigerated display cases: 2 600 €

☕️ WORKSHOPS: Coffee Tasting and Barista Experience

For a donation of 200 euros, we offer:

A coffee workshop to introduce the palate to the flavors and terroirs of coffee. You will learn the differences between countries of origin, botanical varieties and roasting, and how these parameters affect the taste of coffee. A bag of coffee (200 grams) is also offered to the participant. (Duration 2 hours). Valid for one person.*

OR

A gourmet tea-and-chocolate pairing workshop. You will deepen your knowledge of tea during this tasting workshop. You will taste, in a relaxed atmosphere, several families of tea (black, green, white, oolong, flavored, pu-erh) paired with Martinique chocolate. (Duration 2 hours). Valid for one person*.

Dive into the captivating world of coffee during our customizable 2-hour workshop, where every detail is designed to awaken the senses and strengthen team cohesion or to create an original and unique private event. Here is an overview of the themes covered in our base version:

🔥 Roasting: Immerse yourself in the art of roasting, where coffee beans reveal their deepest aromas.

🎲 Sensory Games: Test your senses with a guided tasting of 3 coffees, where you will discover the unique nuances of each variety.

☕ Multi-method Tasting: Explore different facets of coffee through the tasting of a fourth coffee prepared using 3 distinct extraction methods: filter, stovetop (Moka), and espresso.
