Help us rebuild our theatre

Participate in the renovation of Ras El Hanout, the community theatre of Brussels.

Since 2010, Ras El Hanout has kept a theatre alive in the heart of Brussels, designed to give a place on stage to those who are still too rarely seen: residents of working-class neighbourhoods, families, people of immigrant origin and all the stories that are too often left out of traditional stages.
Today, this theatre risks no longer being able to continue as before.

Our emblematic venue, l’Épicerie, must be completely renovated in order to once again become a suitable, sustainable and welcoming space.
In the meantime, we no longer really have a place of our own.
No stable room for creating.
No real space to welcome our audience. 💺
No home to continue bringing our shows to life as we have for more than 15 years.

The renovation work is essential: 🚧
replace the roof;
enlarge the theatre hall;
improve insulation;
renew the technical equipment;
make the venue more sustainable and better suited to the public.
But these works represent an investment our association cannot assume alone.

Without your help, it will be impossible to give Ras El Hanout back a place to continue creating, transmitting and welcoming.
Every donation can directly help move the renovation forward and allow the theatre to finally regain a place of its own.

For years, our shows have been, for many families, a first entry point into theatre. For others, they allow realities, cultures and journeys that remain too rarely visible to finally be represented on stage.

Today, it is this place that must be saved.
