Strike fund for precarious Chronodrive workers: no to the dismissal of Rozenn!
On March 6, the management of the Chronodrive store in Basso Cambo in Toulouse suspended and threatened to dismiss Rozenn, a student and precarious worker, over a tweet. Behind this pretext, this repression actually follows Rozenn’s fight against sexist and sexual violence within the company.
A fierce repression against a 19-year-old student and worker that has caused widespread shock. The petition demanding the withdrawal of all sanctions against Rozenn quickly surpassed 20,000 signatories and prompted responses from numerous organizations and public figures. Workers at Chronodrive also intend to fight in solidarity with Rozenn.
It is in this spirit that we are calling for a strike and a rally this Saturday, March 27 at 3:00 PM in front of the Basso Cambo store. At Chronodrive, the majority of employees work part-time and hold jobs to finance their studies. A day on strike already means a difficult end of the month for us, and it is precisely this financial issue that is at the heart of the matter.
To carry the fight through to the end and win, we invite you to contribute to this strike fund! We also invite you to share it widely, because solidarity is our weapon! Faced with employer repression, precarity, and sexual and sexist violence: we stand up and we fight!
