Last October, Yonathan was hit by a car while riding his bike. The injuries from the accident meant he was unable to work for several months, at a time when his situation as a refugee in the United Kingdom was already precarious. His bike was completely destroyed in the accident.
Yonathan is one of the people we are following in the making of a documentary about migration issues in the United Kingdom. He was hit during one of the filming periods.
We want to help cover the costs this accident has caused him. In particular, we are thinking of buying him a new bike. It is an important item for him, both for getting around and for work, but also to clear his head and to exercise.
