Popular ecology, workers' self-management.
For more than two years, the ex-GKN workers in Florence have been occupying their automotive components factory to resist dismissal procedures and have been developing a self-managed project aimed at ecologically sustainable production. They thus show that there will be no ecological revolution without workers' struggle, and no emancipation of labor without defending the conditions that make the Earth habitable. They have launched an international support campaign which we are joining.
Their struggle is historic; it needs support commensurate with their project. Workers and activists, trade unionists and environmentalists, students and precarious workers—let's be many to come and support them on 23 October!

The money will be used to fund the popular shareholding to begin self-managed production for the ecological and socially integrated conversion of the factory (buying shares directly in the Mutualism Society SOMS is more complicated from abroad).
