It is with immense sadness that we learned of the passing of my dear uncle. May Allah ﷻ have mercy on him, forgive his sins, illuminate his grave and grant him a place among the inhabitants of Jannat al-Firdaws.
As some of you know, I have lost my uncle, my mother’s little brother, the only one I had left from that family; he was both father and mother to me, the grandpa of my children — may Allah have mercy on him, amin 🤲🏻🤍
His wish was to be buried in Senegal during his lifetime. I hope to be able to honor him by repatriating his body and giving him a burial worthy of the good heart and kindness he showed.
In this painful time, I created this fundraiser to help us and to provide support for the expenses related to this difficult period.
Every contribution, however small, will be precious. And for those who cannot contribute financially, a du'a (invocation) for our deceased will be just as precious.
May Allah reward each of you for your generosity, your prayers and your support. May He soothe the hearts of our family and loved ones, grant us patience and courage, and make this trial a source of reward.
May Allah grant him His mercy and open to him the gates of Paradise. 🤲🏼
Allahumma ighfir lahu warhamhu, wa ‘afihi wa‘fu ‘anhu.
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him Your pardon and protect him.
