Welcome to the fundraiser for the refugees of Stalingrad Metro. We are a group of 10 people wishing to help refugees in need.
Located at Stalingrad metro in Paris's 19th arrondissement for several months and living in makeshift camps, around 400 refugees fight day after day against hunger and cold.
Moreover, the hygiene conditions in which they live are deplorable. Men, women and children are vulnerable to all kinds of diseases. These refugees are subjected to recurring evacuations carried out by law enforcement, forcing them to seek other shelter.
This fundraiser aims to collect as many donations as possible to finance "survival kits" (sleeping bags, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap) as well as food supplies.
We wish to prioritize what is needed to face the coming cold, namely sleeping bags, blankets and hygiene products.
Depending on the amount collected we will organize outreach rounds to distribute meals if possible.
