Crossing the Four MassifsThe great crossing of the Vosges, Jura, Alps & Pyrenees along the GR5 & GR10WHO AM I? My name is Samir Oueldi, 39 years old, hiker.In 2020, against all odds, I completed the GR10 (crossing of the Pyrenees) in 40 days.THE PROJECTFor 2021, a new challenge:Cross the 4 main mountain ranges of France ⛰️🇫🇷 A PHYSICAL CHALLENGE2140 km of walking105,000 m of elevation gain +/- Departure from Germany for the crossing of the Vosges Then along the Swiss border, the crossing of the Jura Next, between France and Italy, the crossing of the Alps And finally, from the Mediterranean to the Atlantic, the crossing of the Pyrenees
A MENTAL CHALLENGEThe goal:Reconnect with nature A solo journeyA trek that I will undertake alone Food self-sufficiencyAll my food will be on my back Sleeping self-sufficiencyTent & sleeping bag as my place of residenceA TECHNICAL CHALLENGEShare the stories, the emotions & the encounters
The whole adventure told on social networks: Daily on Instagram One video per week on Youtube All republished on Facebook The challenge will be to share the journey:- With little connectivity- Without electrical outlets- And with limited weightPARTICIPATETravel light, total autonomy, capture every ray of the Sun, ... All elements of my equipment will have to be very specific.
