Since the start of the lockdown, many families in Marseille's working-class neighborhoods are in great difficulty and can no longer feed their children.
The handling of this lockdown has been socially devastating for the most vulnerable; with public policies falling short, we requisitioned the MCDO and transformed it into a platform for solidarity food distribution.
The health of thousands of people is at risk and we cannot accept this situation!
This is now about saving the lives of those who have been excluded from the system for decades and who are being doubly harmed by this health crisis.
What will the money collected be used for?
The money collected will be used to provide meals to thousands of families living in Marseille's working-class neighborhoods.
