A former legionnaire and a professional bodyguard, Eric-Love Ondoua also leads more socially oriented battles: he has just bought an apartment to house homeless people or "people in trouble." A T3 on rue Edouard-Quinet in Valence where he welcomed, in a few weeks, around forty people.
He provides them with a package containing the essentials to dress, toiletries and a bed for one or several days. "They can stay several nights, but there are fixed rules here: an early wake-up, and afterward I want them to spend the day trying to get back on their feet. They have administrative assistance from volunteers and two mandatory sport sessions." The imposing man runs those himself.
His association TEAMBMONDE operates thanks to the generosity of those who discovered it on Facebook (page Eric-Love Ondoua), who bring clothing, baby equipment, or sometimes furniture. Crowdfunding on www.cotizup.com/structuresdf also helps this facility to operate.
According to our statistics, a single share raises an average of 30 euros.
