Hello everyone!
I'm Olympe, a soon-to-be 24-year-old pursuing a master's degree. Identifying as a transgender individual, I prefer the term "transfeminine." Recently, I embarked on my medical transition, and overall, the experience has been incredible, except for the financial challenges that come with it.
As much as it feels awkward to ask for financial help, it's genuinely the support I need right now. I've chosen not to set a specific financial goal for this fundraiser because even small contributions can make a significant impact. The funds collected will be used wisely and solely for covering transition costs, including hormones, medical appointments, laser hair removal, and future surgery/ies.
To give you a glimpse into the financial strain, each laser hair removal session costs around 500 euros (every 4 weeks), and any surgical procedure is at least 5000 euros. At this point, I don't feel comfortable enough to disclose the specifics of the surgical interventions.
I initiated this fundraising as it is soon my birthday, January 11th. If you find it within your means and willingness to contribute, whether it's a modest or more substantial amount, I thank you in advance from the bottom of my trans heart.
However, please do not feel any pressure if you are unable to contribute.
