Works of the Grand Mosque of Évreux – Call for donations (Ramadan)
Assalamu ‘alaykoum wa rahmatoullahi wa barakatouh,
With the approach of the blessed month of Ramadan, a month of generosity and multiplied rewards, we are launching this fundraiser to support the works of the Grand Mosque of Évreux, under the responsibility of the UCME – Union Cultuelle Musulmane d’Évreux.
The project is currently 82% complete.
The mosque is almost finished, but €200,000 still need to be raised to finalize the essential works, notably:
electricity
plumbing
painting and interior finishes
arrangements for the accessibility of people with reduced mobility (PMR)
The Grand Mosque of Évreux represents:
1,250 m² of built area
on a plot of 5,000 m²
a place of prayer, gathering and transmission for current and future generations
Participating in these works means contributing directly to a concrete sadaqa jariya, whose rewards continue as long as the mosque is frequented.
