The CGT Departmental Union 26 is organizing a solidarity fund for Ernest, the only son of two of our comrades, Anne Lafumas and Arnaud Reusser, who died on December 16 in a terrible car accident.
Anne, director of the Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux media library, had been a member of the Executive Committee (CE) of the Union of Individual Members of the Territorial Civil Service of Drôme for many years. She was a pillar of the union because we knew we could count on her, whether for welcome trainings, poster- and leaflet-distribution rounds, union information sessions or support for employees. A quick mind and a huge heart that drove her to continuously fight against injustices and inequalities, with the CGT and with others.
Arnaud was also a CGT comrade, an activist in the ONF union. We only knew him by sight at demonstrations, but we know from his comrades that he was a tireless campaigner for the cause of forest workers, for the public service and for the environment.
As both were only children, their son Ernest now lives with his grandparents.
We invite you to offer him our support through this solidarity fund and to keep alive through it the humanist values his parents defended throughout their lives.
