As-salamu alaykum, dear worshippers and benefactors,
The Guyancourt Mosque is beginning an important phase of renovation works to meet the needs of our growing community. After a thorough study and several meetings with the technical teams and the contractors, here are the main planned improvements:
Modernization of the electrical system: Replacement of fixtures with LED lights for more economical consumption and greater durability.
Reorganization of electrical circuits: Creation of separate circuits for better zone-by-zone lighting management.
Demolition work: Demolition of non-load-bearing walls for an optimal reorganization of the space.
Floor improvements: Insulation and pouring of a concrete screed in the former library and improving the comfort of the prayer rooms: installation of a new carpet.
Maintenance of the prayer area: Throughout the duration of the works, a secure area will remain accessible for prayer.
These works represent a crucial step to ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for all our faithful.
