What would you say about a fundraiser that would increase your wealth, bring a blessing to your possessions and guarantee you an eternal reward?
This corresponds to the sadaqa jariya, a reward in this life and in the Hereafter.
“When a person dies, all their deeds are cut off except for three: a continuous charity (sadaqa jariya), beneficial knowledge that is spread, or a pious child who prays for their parents” Muslim.
Mauritania is renowned for the learning of the Qur'an and Islamic sciences.
FHC studied with scholars in the Mauritanian desert and has been a hafidh of the Qur'an since the age of 14. He has been teaching tajwid, Qur'an, fiqh and ahadith for 11 years. He has led tarawih prayers for several years in one of Nouakchott’s mosques.
A true enthusiast and very humble person, he has launched the construction of a noble project: two buildings of 120 m2 each:
The madrasa / school where children / adults study.
The living quarters for the teacher and the children / adults who study (bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom…)
…but financial means are lacking! We need you.
Know that the children / adults can attend:
as boarders, in which case they are housed, fed and study with the moualim.
As day students, in which case they attend classes and then return home.
Currently, in temporary accommodation with family, the teacher has 9 boarding students and 30 day students.
Above are the architectural plans as well as photos of the current state of construction. We are at the foundation stage for the madrasa; for the living quarters the rooms are only marked out on the ground.
The main goal of this fundraiser is to finish the construction of the 2 buildings for an amount of 23 000 euros. This price includes the purchase of bricks, iron, cement, sand, gravel and the masons’ labor hours.
Through this noble project, Allah ﷻ gives us the opportunity to contribute. Whatever the amount, everything weighs on the scale of the Hereafter and will be rewarded bi idhnillah.
