We work at LOGIFARE, in Moselle. Our logistics company belongs to the multinational group KATOEN NATIE, which is worth billions.
They want to lay off 85 of us out of 99 employees. Only the workers: all members of management remain in place. If we let them do it, we will lose our jobs, with no guarantees afterwards.
We have decided to fight for employment and dignity. We have gone on strike for an indefinite period.
We need your support. The issue of job cuts concerns everyone. In Moselle, we know well: when workers are shown the door, the whole local life is affected: shops close, towns are devastated. We are fighting for ourselves, but also so that tomorrow our children and yours can find stable employment.
