On 10 December 2020, while leaving the Garges-les-Gonesse shopping center, Débora and Céline, two 23-year-old women, were stopped for not wearing a mask. The situation escalated: Céline was violently forced to the ground by officers and Débora, then five months pregnant, was pinned against a wall and shaken several times by a policewoman. A few hours later, Débora experienced severe abdominal pain. She saw an emergency doctor and had to be hospitalized.
The baby she was carrying was stillborn a few days later.
Her pregnancy had been going very well until then.
It is impossible not to see the direct link between the unacceptable violence suffered that day and the loss of this child. The family, still in shock from this terrible tragedy, has therefore decided to file a complaint.
This fundraiser will help them cover various expenses: funeral, lawyer, etc.
According to our statistics, a single share raises an average of 30 euros.
