Hello everyone,
My name is Manon, I am 20 years old, and I am originally from Puy-en-Velay in Haute-Loire. I am a qualified social worker trained as an educational instructor.
I have always been driven by a desire to be useful and to help those who need it most. In September 2025, I will make this dream come true by leaving for a 7-month humanitarian mission to Senegal. This project is close to my heart because it will allow me not only to share my skills but also to grow through this human and cultural experience.
I have already had the chance to put my vocation into practice during a 2-month stay in Ivory Coast in a baby home, as part of my studies. This experience was extremely enriching and allowed me to better understand the needs of vulnerable children, as well as the importance of the role we can play in offering them a stable and secure environment.
During the first three months of this new adventure, I will be in a baby home near Dakar, where I will be able to accompany and support the children in their daily lives. My goal is to create a strong bond with them, to give them moments of happiness, notably through educational and playful activities. One of my greatest dreams is to organize a safari for these children, to raise their awareness of nature and to introduce them to the richness of wildlife.
Then I will continue my mission in the south of Senegal, in Casamance, in an orphanage. There, I want to invest myself in the children’s schooling and provide them with the support they need to succeed. My project is to provide them with school supplies, food and hygiene products, essential to their well-being and development.
Beyond these material donations, I am convinced that moments of exchange, closeness and kindness are what will mark their daily lives the most. My goal is to create positive memories and to show them that they are not alone.
For this project to become a reality, I need your help. Every donation, even modest, is a step towards making this dream come true. The money collected will be used to give the children the unique opportunity to take part in a safari and to buy them clothes, supplies, and other essential items that will improve their daily lives. Together, we can bring a little light and joy into these children’s lives.
