The severe fires currently affecting the wilaya of Jijel have caused fatalities, injuries and disrupted the lives of many families.
Local healthcare facilities are under heavy strain. Urgent needs for medical supplies and care products have notably been reported to us by the EPH de Taher – pharmacy department: sterile compresses and dressings, paraffin‑impregnated gauze (tulle gras), bandages, infusion equipment, syringes, catheters, sheets, diapers, infant formula and other supplies necessary for patient care.
A mobilization is already underway.
A physical collection of medical equipment, medicines and clothing is currently being organized, with several departures to Algeria planned in the coming days.
But the emergency goes beyond medical needs.
Families today need support and needs will evolve in the days and weeks ahead.
That is why we are opening this fundraiser to have financial means to act quickly and directly according to the needs observed on site.
The donations collected may in particular be used to finance:
- the purchase of medical equipment and supplies;
- basic necessities;
- hygiene products, clothing and necessary equipment;
- direct assistance to affected families;
- as well as new urgent needs that will be identified on the ground.
Every donation counts

And if you are not able to contribute financially, a simple share can allow this fundraiser to reach someone who will be able to contribute.
We commit to reporting on the use of funds and on the various actions carried out so that everyone can follow the mobilization concretely.
