As-salām ‘alaykoum wa rahmatoullāh,
During these last 10 nights of Ramadan, we are launching a solidarity fundraiser for the construction of one (or two) water wells in our community located in Benin, in the town of Sakété, Arrondissement 1.
In this locality, many families face great difficulties accessing potable water. Residents often have to travel several kilometers to find water, which greatly complicates daily life. Water is essential for domestic needs (drinking, cooking, hygiene) but also for irrigation and agricultural activities that enable families to make a living.
The construction of this well will provide a reliable and sustainable source of water to the entire neighborhood. This project will be a sadaqa jariya (continuous charity): every person who benefits from it, every drop of water used, will be a source of reward for all those who contributed, in shā’ Allāh.
We therefore appeal to your generosity and solidarity. Any contribution, small or large, can make a difference and bring us closer to the realization of this project that will benefit the whole community.
