ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Today, I turn to you with a heavy heart. I have never asked for help before, but I have reached a point where I see no way out.
A former metalworker and locksmith, I lost everything after my business went bankrupt. For three years I have had no work, no social assistance, and I struggle every day to provide for my family. I am the father of six children, and despite their efforts to help by working in turns, we can no longer hold on.
The worst has happened: my house, where my family and I live, was sold at auction for 160 000 €, while it is worth more than 400 000 €. This is an injustice. My lawyer advised me to file an appeal because it is a provisional sale and it has not been confirmed; there is 1 week left, but I do not have the means to finance this procedure which costs 4 500 €, and I already owe my lawyer 3 500 €. Without swift action, we risk being evicted.
If we lose our house, we will have nowhere to go; my children, my wife and I will end up on the street.
Today I appeal to your generosity — even 1 € can make a difference. If the whole community mobilizes, by the grace of Allah, we can prevent this disaster and save my home.
