Sadaqah Jariyah – Water tower in memory of Norah Ait Ahmed
Our dear mother, Norah Ait Ahmed, from La Marlière in Tourcoing, has passed away. May Allah have mercy on her and admit her into His Paradise.
So that she may continue to receive blessings after her death, we are raising €6,000 to build a water tower on her behalf. It will provide drinking water to families who lack it, and each drop drunk will be an ongoing charity for her, Insha'Allah.
Allah says:
"The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed that produces seven ears; in every ear there are a hundred grains. Allah multiplies the reward to whom He wills." (Quran 2:261)
"It is We who give life to the dead, and We record what they have sent before them and the traces they have left." (Quran 36:12)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him." (Muslim)
Sa'd ibn 'Ubada asked the Prophet ﷺ what was the best charity for his deceased mother. He replied: "Water." (Abu Dawud)
Every donation counts, whatever its amount. The funds will be used entirely for the construction of the water tower.
