An insane project!
A unique gathering of artists around a little-known Georges Brassens song, S’faire enculer.
12 singers, La Maggy Bolle, Greg Manor aka “kactus”, Didier Wampas, Pat Kore, Prisca, Yo not dead, Samy Garcias, Guillaume Boutevillain, Pierro Sapu, JP Bourorga, Hakim Amokrane, Le Vinvin de Bourgogne.
3 backing vocalists, Prisca, Manon and Virginie.
The musicians, Keemah on guitar, Yan Grill on bass, Yo not dead on drums, Flo on accordion, Behigh on scratching.
A rock cover of Brassens' song S’faire enculer.
Brassens wrote this song but never had the time to record it; his collaborator Jean Bertola set it to music and performed it on a tribute album released in 1985.
One of those songs Brassens liked to slip into his albums: under refined verses, a bawdy spirit and an ironic, libertarian verve.
We wanted to cover this song because it provokes, because in these times when smoke-and-mirrors and political correctness rule, a little irreverence feels good!
We arranged it in our own style so it can keep living through the years.
We are completely independent and self-produced this song. Now we’d like to release a great video, a CD of the track plus a remix and a maxi 45 RPM vinyl to get it heard as widely as possible.
Crowdfunding seemed the most direct way to let our music be heard in total freedom.
The idea is simple: to bring this track to life, we produce it and release it together.
