As-salamu alaykum dear brothers and sisters, I turn to you today to call on your solidarity.
The mosque of Zaïo, our place of prayer, is truly in need of our help.
Every time it rains, water seeps through the ceiling and flows directly onto the prayer rugs. Because of these repeated leaks, the walls are soaked, mold sets in, and the air becomes difficult to breathe for the worshippers, especially for our elders and our children who come to pray there.
The goal of this fundraiser is simple and concrete: to raise the necessary funds to completely redo the ceiling’s waterproofing and restore the walls before the next rains arrive.
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) reminded us that: “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” Taking care of its repair and protecting it from the elements is part of this beautiful Sadaqah Jariya, a continuous charity that will weigh heavily in our good deeds.
There is no small donation. Every euro counts and represents a brick to shelter the house of Allah.
