**Support the purchase of Miss Terre,
A rural community of faggots in Haute-Saône!**

Miss Terre is the name we gave to a house in the hills of the "Vosges saônoises", and it's also the name of a collective living project run by 6 people (and all the pals who have supported us) for a year and a half.

We came together with the desire to create a queer collective habitat in the countryside, a place of life and creation for those who live there and a welcoming refuge for people passing through.

There are very few rural queer collective places in France and, by creating Miss Terre, we are committed to making a place exist that offers the possibility of rural life while providing the safety and care of a community.

Participating in the life of the region is also an important aspect of the project and our presence here in any case does not go unnoticed! Since our arrival we have woven strong ties with neighbours and local residents, fostering solidarity, mutual learning and a ground for campaigning together.

Providing care, creating community and spreading queerness around us — these are some of the fundamentals of this collective adventure!



Miss Terre's collective purchase project

But there is a but. The house we are currently renting is up for sale and if we want to continue cultivating this magic, we now need to move to the next step: buying Miss Terre so that this project can live on for many years!

Our plan is to create an Association that will become the owner of the house, so that ownership is entirely collective and freed from speculation. It will also allow the project to evolve, with arrivals and departures of residents who will be tenants of the association.



By pooling our ideas, available cash and loans from friends and family, we can almost manage to fund this beautiful project! But we still need one last push to make it financially sustainable, and that's where you can help us:

We are still looking for 25 000€ in the form of donations, which will complete the budget needed for the purchase and the first urgent renovations of the house. Although it is a small part of the total amount, this sum of 25 000€ is essential because it will be used directly by the association without having to be repaid, which will give the project a lot of breathing room. So any amount, however small, will be a real help to us!

We are committed to Miss Terre being a place that supports queer communities and local residents, and for us, receiving collective funding means committing to making this dream a reality!





A great place for great projects

Miss Terre's house is an old farmhouse isolated in the middle of the hills. It has 5 bedrooms, a shared dormitory, large communal living spaces and an activity area ideal for events and hosting groups.

Today we organize events, cabarets and meetings here. These moments are always rich in meaning and emotion, as they are times of sharing between different worlds, local people or visitors, more or less activists and of various ages. Making ourselves visible through the existence of Miss Terre is also a way to share queer realities that are usually invisible in rural areas.

In the future, we would also like to set up the house so that it can host activist, artistic or other groups for a few days, autonomously and at an affordable price, so that they can benefit from a working or retreat environment in the calm and quiet that this place offers.
