A FOREVER HOME FOR FORSAKEN DONKEYS

Please help the abandoned donkeys of southern Morocco.

In the south of Morocco, more and more donkeys are abandoned when they are no longer considered “useful”. Left to their own devices, they become semi-wild, without care, and are sometimes sick or injured in an arid region where water and forage are scarce.

Yet the donkey is central to life in Morocco. It has carried loads, transported goods, ploughed fields and traced paths. It has helped build the country. Despite this, it suffers from a diminished public image that makes abandonment almost commonplace.

We refuse this injustice.

💚 The partner associations We Are Solidarité and Dessine-moi demain are joining forces to create a shelter in Mazarii Abaybou (Guelmim Oued Noun region).

A place dedicated to the protection of abandoned donkeys:
– continuous supply of food and water
– climate-appropriate shaded areas
– regular veterinary care
– individual follow-up and support

🫏 Our first rescue, Azzou, marks the beginning of this project. But there will be others.

• lay the sustainable foundations of this shelter
